Australia : a traveler's survival kit
Published in Unknown Binding by Lonely Planet ()
Author: Tony Wheeler
Average review score:

It gives you the info you need to get around
I used the 86 edition as the basis for designing a 2500 day Grand Tour of Oz. It gave me detailed info on not only the major cities, but the minor ones as well. I really liked the set up where the places described were in the order you you reached them as you drove along. I intend to get the lastest edition to take with me on my mini-GTO of Oz later this year. The book is well worth the money spent!

A fantastic book about the West.
If you like western novels, or just plain great storytelling, this will be one of the best books you will ever read. Wheeler is a great developer of interesting characters, and has a flair for putting them in compelling situations.Take the best parts of The Searchers and Tony Hillerman's novels and you've got Badlands.

Ballet on Ice: The Story of Tai Babilonia and Randy Gardner
Published in Paperback by Ace Books (January, 1981)
Author: Elizabeth Wheeler
Average review score:

What an amazing story,
Randy is a friend of mine and he is amazing. His story is equal to personality. As many of you know shortly before the olympics he injured his leg. The night of the olympics he got a shot to numb his leg, he did not tell his partner Tai about the shot. On the ice he attempted a jump and collapsed, they had to forfeit. They skated together after but did not attempt the olimpics. Tai tried to comit sucide but they are both alive today and still good friends. I strongly encourage you to read this heartrenching story.

The Battle of Lost River (Wheeler Large Print Book Series (Paper))
Published in Paperback by Wheeler Pub (May, 2002)
Author: Karl Lassiter
Average review score:

Compelling and fast-paced!
There are so many stories of the American West that need telling (or retelling). The story of Captain Jack is one. Wonderful book, good characters, fast-paced and involving plot. Don't miss it (or Lassiter's earlier book, First Cherokee Rifles)

Bean Bag Buddies: An Adorable Collection of Bean Bag Toys To Make for All the
Published in Hardcover by Sterling Publishing (01 October, 2000)
Author: Nicki Wheeler
Average review score:

Good book for beginners
Easy to follow instructions. My 9-year-old daughter and I finished the duck project in 2 hours and it wasn't one suggested for beginners. Overall, it was a fun project to work together. We can't wait to start on our next one, the polar bear. My suggestion is when tracing the patterns, use white gift wrapping tissue paper.

Being There: Culture and Formation in Two Theological Schools (Religion in America Series)
Published in Hardcover by Oxford University Press (October, 1997)
Authors: Jackson W. Carroll, Barbara G. Wheeler, Daniel O. Aleshire, and Penny Long Marler
Average review score:

How Theological Schools Actually Work
During the past year, I've had occasion to read several books on theological education. This book is by far the most interesting and suggestive of the lot. Repeated visits by the four co-authors to two campuses and careful observation of how students are shaped by the all the dimensions of campus life (included but most certainly not limited to classes)yields a compelling picture both of what actually happens at a theological school and of the role of such schools in religious communities. For anyone with even a passing interest in theological education.

Beyond Business Process Reengineering : Towards the Holonic Enterprise

Great for distributed replenishment
A great read for anyone looking at setting up replenishment across geographically spread sites. While most texts provide information on centralised warehousing supplying stores or plants, this book focusses on transferring stock from multiple locations. Great for today's internet retailing world !
